What is the difference between Bikini and Brazilian waxing?
Bikini waxing is basically a “clean up” of your panty line and across the top. It will prevent any hairs from showing if you are wearing a bikini. Brazilian waxing is when all the hair is taken off from bikini top and sides and all hair is removed from the labia area through to the top of your bottom. We can do a modified Brazilian if you’d like.
Make sure your hair is long enough.
To be safe, make sure it is at least 1/4″ to a 1/2″ long.
Does it hurt?
It isn’t a super relaxing service, but our technicians work quickly so it will hurt for a just a little while. You can take a couple of anti-inflammatory type pain killers like Advil, Motrin, or Ibuprofen 30 minutes prior to your wax appointment (aspirin and too many pain killers can thin the blood and cause more bleeding from the follicle). We recommend not waxing four (4) days before or after your menstrual cycle because you may be more sensitive.
